What
is Reiki?
Reiki is omni present unseen "life force energy"
that flows within us and causes us to be alive. Reiki
is originated from Japanese word. It is comprised of two
words. “Rei” and “Ki” The first
word "Rei" means universal. The second word
"Ki" means Prana or Life Force. The word "Reiki"
therefore means universal Life Force that causes the whole
universe to run like human being, animals, creatures,
birds, trees and plants, insects etc. Lack of this energy
gives birth to illness and eventually to the end of life.
Reiki is a safe, natural and simple method of spiritual
healing and self-improvement that can be used by anyone.
Virtually every known illness and malady can be cured
with this. It can also be used along with all other medical
or therapeutic techniques to reduce their side effects
and promote recovery. |

How
it can be learnt?
Reiki teacher is called Reiki master. Reiki can be learnt
only by Attunement/Initiation (Shaktipata) given by the
Reiki master. It can’t be learnt through books.

Does
Reiki have any negative effects?
No. Reiki has no side or negative effects. It’s
totally safe and secure. |

Is
Reiki related to any specific religion?
Reiki is intangible omni present life force energy. All
have equal rights on it irrespective of any cast and creed.
But as we all follow different religions, we tend to relate
the Reiki with the religion we follow. |

What
is the scientific basis of Reiki?
Reiki affects DNR/RNA and balances the level of Protein
and Enzymes. Each of the seven chakras is associated with
one of the seven endocrine glands, and also with a group
of nerves called a plexus. Thus, each chakra can be associated
with particular parts of the body and particular functions
within the body controlled by that plexus or that endocrine
gland associated with that chakra. Reiki is a method to
balance these chakras as well as cures them. |

Can
anybody learn Reiki?
Yes, anybody can learn Reiki. No special qualification
is required for it as it is not depended on one's intellectual
capacity or spiritual development and therefore is available
to everyone. |

Should
there be any charges for learning Reiki?
Reiki should be free from ego or the feeling of begging.
And these both are avoided in Reiki. When you pay something
for Reiki you take it seriously and even the Reiki master
grants you Reiki attunement with full dedication. |

Can
Reiki heal all type of diseases? Is the treatment guaranteed?
Reiki is given when it is demanded. When you demand it
you prepare yourself physically and mentally to observe
it. The percentage of success depends on the way you take
Reiki. An individual have to have the firm intention of
getting well before any real healing can take place. |

Can
I treat myself through Reiki?
Yes. After receiving 1st level Reiki, you can treat yourself
by laying your hands on your body and energy centres.
You can balance and centre your body-mind-spirit connection
through self-healing. |

Can
Reiki be used with other therapies?
Yes. It can be used with other therapies. Reiki will improve
their effects. It complements the treatment you receive
in hospitals or other health care centres. |

Reiki be used on animals and plants?
Yes it can be. Animals and plants respond to it very well
and they get its benefits very soon. |
